OR Registered Nurse - Meditech Experience Required

Location: Miami, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Job Description: The OR Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the operating room, ensuring the safety and comfort of the surgical patients. The nurse will work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimum care across various surgical specialties.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and arrange necessary equipment and instruments for surgeries.
• Assist surgeons during procedures and ensure the sterile field is maintained.
• Maintain a 30-minute turnaround time between surgeries.
• Inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical equipment.
• Document and track specimen documentation and inventory records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of current experience in an acute hospital setting, with strong ortho, neuro, and robotics experience.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system is required.
• Ability to float among different specialties in the OR.
