Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Nights

Contract | Full-Time | Nights | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced rural Emergency Department setting
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care plans as indicated to ensure optimal care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health team members to coordinate medical and nursing management
• Consult with other specialties as required to support comprehensive patient care
• Function as a proactive team member in a high-volume ED environment, demonstrating the ability to learn quickly and work well under pressure

Required Qualifications

• Current Vermont RN license or compact multi-state RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience
• Proficiency with or demonstrated ability to quickly learn Meditech EMR
• All credentialing must be submitted no later than five business days prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Prior experience in a rural or critical access hospital setting
