Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Hillsdale, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Position: LDRP (Labor and Delivery Recovery and Postpartum) RN Details: Care for both labor & delivery as well as recovery with mother/baby and postpartum care. 2 Triage beds for rule out labor, NSTs, fluids, etc. 16 weeks and over gestation. Avg deliveries: 40/mo / 425/yr Providers not always on site overnight, anesthesia within 30 mins and physicians within 10. No residents. Growing CNM model so coverage 2-4 days per week. RN responsibilities for skills check: Cervical exams Cytotec placement Mag gtts Newborn/preemie care post c-section/delivery Can float to M/S floor but only assists- not taking full assignment. Staffing: 3 RNs and 1 CAN weekday, 2 RNs and 1 CNA weekend. 1 RN on call. Nightshift charge M-F typically available. EHR: CPSI (uncommon- will get an intro and hands on during shadow shifts) Orientation: 1-3 shifts on the unit based on experience.
