HR Coordinator

Town Club Downtown Los Angeles 545 South Figueroa Street Los Angeles, CA 90071, USA Description JOB OVERVIEW Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources , the HR Coordinator supports the day-to-day work of the HR team who services 500 employees; and helps create a welcoming employee experience across both the Downtown (‘Town Club’) and Santa Monica (‘Beach Club.’) This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, service-minded, and enjoys taking initiative while supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee programs, and HR operations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Support recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination. Assist with onboarding, offboarding, filing, employment requests, and maintaining accurate and confidential employee records. Create clear and engaging HR flyers, communication boards, and employee updates. Support HR compliance activities, including introductory-period reviews, I-9 tracking, and benefits enrollment. Assist employees and managers with general HR questions, requests, and day-to-day support. Coordinate employee recognition programs, monthly and quarterly celebrations, annual traditional HR events, and special HR events. Assist in executing the process and tracking of all invoices, supplies, shipments, employee gifts, and general HR office organization. Support Heart of the House decorations and special projects that help promote a positive employee culture. QUALIFICATIONS 1–2 years of Human Resources, administrative, or related experience preferred Strong organizational and follow-up skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information Comfortable learning and working with HR systems; UKG PRO experience is a plus Able to work independently while also being a supportive team member EDUCATION High School Diploma or equivalent required Additional education or training in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus Pay Range: $27.00/hour - $29.00/hour At JonathanClub, our values of Family, Community, Wellness, Respect, and Passion are at the heart of everything we do.
