Step into a vital healthcare role supporting patients in a psychiatric and behavioral health setting as a Certified Nursing Assistant. This 26-week engagement provides the opportunity to make a significant impact within a secure clinical environment dedicated to individuals facing mental health challenges.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
• Night Shift: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Overtime may be available based on facility needs

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification required
• At least 1-2 years of previous contract healthcare experience
• Must meet one of the following:
  • Minimum 2 years of direct experience in mental health/psychiatric facilities
  • At least 5 years in geriatric care (long-term care, nursing home, or hospice) if primary background is elder care
  • 4+ years in emergency or urgent care settings for candidates from acute care backgrounds
• Comfortable working in locked or secure psychiatric settings
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal support
• Monitor and document patient behaviors, mood fluctuations, and safety issues
• Support therapeutic groups and structured programming under supervision
• Maintain safety by adhering to behavioral health protocols
• Aid the nursing team with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Uphold confidentiality, infection control, and safety standards at all times

$1,290 - $1,360/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
