Relief Bus Drivers

Relief bus drivers for Bluff, Montezuma Creek, and Monument Valley areas. Qualifications: Relief bus drivers must possess a valid Commercial Drivers License with Class B, P, and S endorsements. Must be physically capable to drive a school bus and evacuate students in an emergency. San Juan School District will provide training to acquire a CDL. Essential duties and responsibilities include transporting students to various activities; monitoring loading and unloading activities; assuring safe and complete de-busing of children; monitoring surroundings and environs to detect hazards and prevent hardship; monitoring activity and behaviors to assure safety; may administer routine discipline as needed to maintain order and safety. Salary: Substitute Salary Schedule Relief Driver: $23.35/hr. Hours: Relief bus drivers are on-call, as needed employees. Available to fill in for route drivers.
