Maintenance Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations at an Everabode Property Management manufactured housing community. This role supervises maintenance staff, ensures timely completion of repairs, maintains community appearance, and supports safety and compliance standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders, preventative maintenance, and home readiness.
• Oversee maintenance of community infrastructure, common areas, and vacant homes.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and HUD guidelines.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience & Certifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in manufactured housing or multifamily.
• Prior supervisory or lead maintenance experience required.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Ability to read work orders, schedules, and basic technical documentation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties if needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift to 50 pounds and work outdoors.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily on-site at the assigned community, with regular time spent outdoors and in maintenance areas.
• Frequent exposure to tools, equipment, and physical labor associated with maintenance and repairs.
• May require travel to nearby communities to support maintenance operations or special projects.
• Occasional after-hours responsibilities may also be required.
