Most availability will be within nights. Respiratory Care Department Highlights Work with a dynamic and knowledgeable team Over 192 years of experience with our RT staff New Ventilators onsite Here’s What You Need Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Care Program is required 1 Year Med/Surg or critical care experience preferred is preferred 3 years of RRT Experience is strongly preferred RCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner Upon Hire is required And RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Upon Hire is required And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required And ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days is required And NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required Good verbal communications, good interpersonal skills, computer experience What You Will Do Obtains/verifies physician order for therapy and validate for appropriateness. Demonstrates competence in the performance of age-appropriate patient assessment and individualizes care based on age specific needs. 35% Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment. Performs treatment procedures that are within the scope of the professional license. Administers medication in a safe/correct manner, adhering to medication administration guidelines. Reports unsafe conditions and equipment in proper/timely manner. Responds to emergency situations.
