Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Patient Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Must-Have: - Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) - At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse - Competence to provide care as the primary nurse in a rural Critical Access Hospital - Ability to safely function in a low oxygen environment (8k elevation) Description: The Registered Nurse provides nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team in the Patient Care Unit. The role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Candidates must be competent to work effectively in a rural healthcare environment. Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. Housing costs can be high, especially during the winter months.
