In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients referred for a wide range of conditions, including sprains, strains, post-surgical joint repairs and replacements, spine-related pain, sports injuries, and work-related injuries. A typical day involves conducting initial evaluations, creating individualized treatment plans, leading one-on-one and supervised exercise sessions, performing manual therapy as appropriate, and continuously reassessing progress to modify care plans. You will also provide clear patient education on diagnosis, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and strategies for long-term wellness. Patient volume and scheduling are designed to support focused, individualized care while meeting clinic productivity expectations. You can expect a steady outpatient caseload, with time allotted for documentation in the electronic medical record system and communication with referring physicians and other care team members. Collaboration with colleagues is encouraged, and there are opportunities to refine clinical skills, share best practices, and participate in continuing education to support your professional growth. Work hours typically follow a clinic-based schedule, with daytime and possible early evening hours to accommodate patient needs.
