ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION Assist Landlord Relations Supervisor in receiving and responding to landlord inquiries, mediating between landlords and tenants concerning procedures and HUD policy as needed, and serving as a spokesperson for the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Conduct landlord briefings and recruit prospective landlords as needed. Assist Landlord Relations Supervisor with inquiries pertaining to change of ownership, new vendor registrations, vendor address/phone changes, ACH/EDS registration, management/POA/guardian changes, landlord W‑9 verifications, and vendor questions/concerns. Manage the HCV Landlord Email account and all general inquiries. Provide leadership support, train new employees, and oversee the work quality of the Contracts Department. Meet all job safety requirements and applicable OSHA safety standards related to essential functions. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, coworkers, and external parties. Prepare clear and concise narrative and statistical reports, using tact and diplomacy, yet firmness. Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance and the ability to work remotely. Perform other related duties as assigned. Attention to detail; interpret instructions in written, oral, picture, or schedule form. Determine specific actions, navigate landlords through CMHA housing procedures according to HUD regulations and CMHA administrative plan. Understand, interpret, and apply laws, rules, or regulations to specific situations. Record keeping: read, copy, and record figures accurately; complete forms; prepare correspondence; compile and prepare reports; respond to inquiries from public and/or officials. Communicate effectively; maintain records according to established procedures; resolve complaints; travel to different locations as needed; think logically; present results with clarity.
