Recruiter Assistant
Location: Sterling Heights, MI - 18 1/2 mile Mound road Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
We are currently seeking a dependable and professional Customer Service Representative for our Sterling Heights office. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, people-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
The person in this role will support the hiring process from start to finish, including applicant communication, pre-screening, onboarding, and helping candidates move through each step of the process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Interview and pre-screen candidates for open positions
- Assist with onboarding new hires
- Conduct orientations and review workplace expectations with employees
- Coordinate and schedule background checks and drug tests
- Communicate with applicants regarding job opportunities, next steps, and start details
- Maintain accurate candidate and employee records
- Provide customer service support to applicants, employees, and clients
- Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Help ensure all required paperwork and pre-employment steps are completed
- Support office operations and recruiting efforts as needed
