About the Position

Registered Nurse – Oncology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | 13-week assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an oncology unit following established clinical protocols and standards
• Administer chemotherapy and related oncology treatments in accordance with facility policies
• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, documenting findings accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-care instructions

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required prior to start
• Minimum 18 months of oncology specialty experience within the past 3 years
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Chemotherapy certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong bone marrow transplant (BMT) experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with oncology unit workflows and high-acuity patient populations
