Pay: $21.97 – $32.00 per hour
Position Overview
Braman Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Structured Cabling Technician to join our growing telecommunications team. The ideal candidate will be BICSI certified with a strong background in designing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining structured cabling systems.
This leadership role is perfect for a motivated professional who enjoys mentoring team members, managing projects in the field, and delivering high-quality telecommunications solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems
- Design and implement structured cabling solutions for a variety of projects
- Ensure installations comply with industry standards and best practices
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project requirements
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior technicians
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customers to ensure project success
- Maintain accurate documentation for installations and system configurations
- Perform inspections and testing to ensure optimal system performance
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and standards
Qualifications
- BICSI Certification required
- Minimum 2 years of structured cabling experience
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices
- Proficiency with cabling tools, testing equipment, and installation methods
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Additional industry certifications such as RCDD or CTS are a plus
