Provide feedback to associates with the assistance of the Community ManagerEnsure that the community and its grounds are in good repair and provide a safe and attractive environment for residentsInspect the community and grounds regularly, identify any areas in need of repairMaintain grounds, coordinate lawn service and other outdoor grounds service from approved vendors as neededMust set up and maintain the Community Compliance Manual for the community according to specificationsRespond to all repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staffPrepare apartments for new residentsEnsure proper removal and disposal of trashEnsure that all maintenance items are kept in a safe area to prevent injuries to residents, associates, and visitorsMaintain availability to residents, management, staff, on a regular predictable basisAttend required meetings and training programsMust follow all safety/OSHA RequirementsRegular attendance and punctualityAdditional duties as assignedWhat you bring to our team:High School degree or equivalent is required2-5 years previous maintenance experience preferably in a multi-family housing environmentPersonnel supervisory experience preferredEPA 608 Type I and Type II certifications, along with a current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification, is requiredUnderstanding and ability to repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry and mechanical systemsProficiency in computer skills such as Ops Technology, e-mailAvailable to work days and evenings, weekdays, and weekendsMust demonstrate support of Bell Core ValuesMust demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer serviceMust demonstrate ability to successfully work on a teamMust be able to clearly communicate both orally and in writingPhysical requirements of the job:Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 80 lbs.Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materialsMust be comfortable with heights and moving heavy objectsCompensation RangeHourly: $44.00 - $47.00Incentive compensation opportunities are available and are performance based.About Bell PartnersOur purpose at Bell Partners is to create communities our residents are proud to call home.
