Company Description North Reading Veterinary Clinic is an established, full-service, small animal hospital located in North Reading, Massachusetts. We see dogs and cats Mondays through Saturdays. Our staff provides services such as comprehensive medical care, digital radiography, routine and orthopedic surgical care, dental prophylaxis with radiography, mass removals, ultrasounds, in-house lab work/diagnostics, and more. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our hours of operation are: Monday & Friday: 8 am - 6 pm Wednesday, Tuesday & Thursday: 8 am - 7 pm Saturday: 8 am - Noon We are closed on Sundays To learn more about us, click here! Job Description Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.
