Program Manager (Team Coordinator) – Supported Living

We are a nonprofit organization in South King County that provides individualized supported living services to adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated Program Manager to help carry out this mission.

Your Responsibilities:

You will oversee community-based and daily support services for individuals living in their own homes in South King County. Key responsibilities include:

• Leadership: Provide direct supervision to up to 20 Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), mentor staff, and conduct performance reviews to support a high-performing team.
• Advocacy: Coordinate and document health care services for individuals in accordance with state and agency requirements.
• Support Management: Monitor and maintain each individual’s medical and service benefits to support continued access to essential resources.
• Direct Support: Provide immediate assistance during emergencies, including physical transfers and personal hygiene support.
• Financial Oversight: Reconcile each individual’s financial records monthly to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Collaboration: Schedule and attend required monthly meetings, prepare written meeting documentation, and promote open communication and teamwork.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Preferred experience includes at least three years in a supervisory role and five years providing supported living services in community settings. Strong candidates will also demonstrate:
  • The ability to build supportive relationships with DSPs, individuals receiving services, and their families.
  • Experience developing individualized support plans tailored to each person’s needs.
  • The flexibility to work varying schedules as required.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, along with strong organizational and documentation capabilities.
  • A deep understanding of person-centered support philosophies.

Required:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with no pending risk of loss.
• Ability to pass Washington State and FBI fingerprint-based background checks. See WAC 388-113-0020 for a list of disqualifying crimes; not all convictions are disqualifying.

• Competitive Wages: The starting wage is $31.00 to $35.23 per hour, with potential bonuses. Employees receive an additional $60 per day when responsible for the company’s emergency cell phone.
