Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time paraprofessional role is available for the 26/27 school year, offering an excellent opportunity to support student learning in an educational setting located in Huntington Beach, CA. This contract position provides a structured Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week, ideal for those seeking consistent work hours in a school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Successful completion of a Parapro assessment or possession of an Associate degree or higher
- Prior experience or certification as a paraprofessional preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assist certified teaching staff in delivering instructional support to students
- Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning concepts
- Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Support students with special needs as directed by education professionals
- Participate in planning and implementation of educational activities
