Job Summary and Qualifications

Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for calculating weekly projections, monthly financial reports and creating monthly journal entries and reconciliations. Assists with budgetary worksheets. Supports Market Controllers with financial projects and hospital department's productivity.

What you will do in this role:

You will prepare month-end journal entries and complete balance sheet reconciliations

Your role helps complete weekly projections and daily volume reports along with preparing monthly MOR reports

Your role demonstrates an understanding of the HCA corporate integrity agreement and the objectives of the ethics and compliance program as evidenced by participation in annual training and appearance to regulations and policies.

You will communicate in a positive, effective manner at all times, with all individuals

Your role supports Market Controllers and VP on various projects and duties.

What qualifications you will need:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Three to Five years of accounting experience required, healthcare preferred.

Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to address age appropriate considerations relating to the communication and safety needs of the patient population served within the department.
