Account Executive - Biotech, Business Development - Clinical Trials Division - San Fransico, CA

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc

Account Executive role driving sales growth in clinical trial services across the San Francisco west coast territory. The position focuses on new business development, client relationship management, and expanding market share for clinical supply chain services at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Pharmaceutical Services Group.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities with emerging biotech companies and existing clients in assigned territory
Develop and execute comprehensive territory plan to optimize regional sales performance
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders and C-suite executives
Support contract negotiation and quotation processes for clinical supply services
Attend industry conferences and tradeshows to generate leads and increase service awareness

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
5-8 years pharmaceutical or biotech industry sales or business development experience
Clinical supplies industry experience highly desired
Knowledge of clinical drug development processes
Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications
Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25% of working time
