Licensed Practical Nurse - LPNProvides medical care to the people we serve by performing skilled nursing duties; guiding and assisting direct support staff in the provision of medical services and performing other nursing related duties as directed. Provides medical care, training, guidance and assistance to direct support staff in monitoring health, documenting medical services/outcomes, and implementing medication administration, exercise programs, and other prescribed services. Monitors and documents outcomes based on goals accurately; provides direction and feedback.Minimum Education, Training & Experience: Current NYS LPN licenseOne (1) year LPN experienceExperience working with people with either developmental disabilitiesValid New York State Driver's License with an acceptable driving record is requiredAbility to work flexible hoursAbility to demonstrate a high level of empathy and sensitivity to the needs of the people we serveAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingAbility and willingness to provide effective instruction and demonstration to staffAbility to work effectively without direct supervisionAbility to develop meaningful relationships with team mates and work cooperatively with othersAbility to obtain and maintain CPI certificationSalary: $26.92- $30.04 per hour starting rate depending on years licensed$5,000 sign on bonus paid over 2 yearsSchedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pmBenefits – Intandem Contact us for more InformationAn equal opportunity employer.
