Warehouse and Chemical Process Group Leader
AbbVie
Group Leader position overseeing warehouse and chemical process operations at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Directs personnel, ensures regulatory compliance, manages scheduling, and maintains safety and operational efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
- Direct operations personnel and monitor task completion to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance
- Manage operator scheduling, training, and technical development while ensuring adequate coverage
- Conduct regular inspections and analyze operational data to identify issues and optimize systems
- Coordinate with maintenance, production, and regulatory teams on cross-functional issues and problem resolution
- Maintain compliance with corporate policies, SOPs, environmental regulations, and support external audits
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years chemical operations experience in production environments
- Forklift and portable hand truck certification
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Strong technical knowledge of chemical, pharmaceutical, or biological manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized systems
