GitLab is seeking a seasoned Threat Intelligence Engineer to join our Security Operations team. This role is crucial for providing actionable intelligence to proactively combat security threats. You will leverage your technical skills, particularly in Python, to monitor threats, automate processes, and maintain our Threat Intelligence Platform. Collaborating with industry peers, you will help refine our threat intelligence program and build meaningful relationships while contributing to enhancing security across the software supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the threat landscape, identifying risks relevant to GitLab.
• Administer and build out our Threat Intelligence Platform.
• Support incident response through malware analysis and tracking.
• Collaborate on Purple Team Flash Operations to improve defensive capabilities.
• Build relationships with industry peers to share intelligence.
• Write code and leverage AI for process automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering impactful threat intelligence.
• Experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms and threat feeds.
• Experience researching adversaries using OSINT.
• Ability to automate tasks using Python.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Optional: experience in reverse engineering malware.
