Discover your exciting roleThe Senior Lead I&C Engineer participates in a team environment consisting of engineers and designers to produce construction documents for the following systems: Instrumentation and Controls, telecommunications, fire alarm, and security. Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesPerforms the engineering tasks for the design of technology systems for high technology facilities including cleanrooms, general manufacturing/process facilities and institutionalAssists in providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertiseCoordinates with the project team and other disciplines as well as other design officesDevelops the conceptual design, preliminary design and final design documents which would include the development of technology schematic diagrams, technology equipment layout, cable routing, details, and the likeAssists in providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertiseCoordinates with disciplines in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensuring those other disciplines’ inputs are incorporatedProvides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertiseAssists in developing studies and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by discipline teamWorks to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships both internal and externalAbility to mentor and train junior staffOther duties as assignedShow your expertiseMinimum RequiredEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) License preferredNation Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Record preferred8+ years of experience PreferredPrior experience in Autodesk Revit and AutoCADPrior experience as a consulting engineer preferredPrior experience with Advanced TechnologyExperience working within a team environment Experience in the quality control review processExperience contributing to continuous improvement processesSpecific Skills & KnowledgeGeneral knowledge of codes and common industry standards related to the design of industrial and manufacturing facilities and systemsGood time management skills, strong work ethic and attention to detailsProficient in the use of Autodesk Building Systems SoftwareGood verbal and written communication skillsIndividual must possess strong communication and organizational skillsStrong team player with an ability to build effective working relationshipsEnergetic and self-motivatedWorking knowledge of Microsoft productsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Non-Solicitation: We are not currently accepting third-party agency candidates for this position.
