Emergency Veterinarian Overnight

Overview Westbridge Veterinary Referral Hospital (WVRH) in West Bridgewater, MA, is expanding its Emergency and Critical Care services and returning to 24/7 coverage. We are looking for internship‑trained or experienced emergency veterinarians who enjoy working overnight shifts and have an interest in emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery. The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in an overnight setting, is friendly, collaborative, compassionate, and dedicated to patients and their owners. Schedule and Compensation As we expand to full 24/7 coverage, we offer an overnight‑only position with a predictable and consistent schedule. The full‑time schedule is 9 shifts per 4 weeks, with options to pick up additional shifts for higher income. Shifts run from either 5PM or 7PM until 8AM. 9 shifts per 4 weeks – $180K 10 shifts per 4 weeks – $200K 12 shifts per 4 weeks – $220K We offer a competitive salary plus sign‑on, relocation, and retention bonuses. The emergency doctors manage receiving and inpatient care and have opportunities to take on soft tissue surgery cases. You’ll also work alongside our in‑house specialty surgeons, Dr. Trey Townsend and Dr. Lindsey Lavin, and our new Internist, Dr. Juliana Picard. Collaboration with a broad network of specialists across Ethos is also available. The support team includes credentialed technicians. Jaime Maher, CVT, VTS (ECC, Anesthesia), leads technician development as our Technician Training Manager. Hospital Director Rebecca Schmitt, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, supports a culture of wellness and work‑life balance.
