We are looking for an Operator experienced in manufacturing to join our dynamic team in Gainesville, Texas. This position is responsible for operating injection-molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Operate injection-molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials
• Pull lever to close dies and inject plastic into dies to cast part
• Trim excess material from part using knife, rout-a-burr, gate clipper or other hand tool
• Verify the quality of the parts produced meet the designated customer requirements, quality appearance standard and any functional requirements
• Remove finished product from dies using handtools
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Report to work on time and adheres to lunch and break schedules
• Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Read and understand blueprints
• Capable of operating more than 1 molding machine and related support equipment
• Ability to use basic measurement tools
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Ability to differentiate colors
• Ability to work in hot or cold temperature climates for extended periods
• Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Must use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
• Ability and willingness to change job functions at a moment's notice
