General Cardiologist – Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital (Somerset, KY) Join the Lifepoint Health team as a General Cardiologist with Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, a 295‑bed acute care community hospital part of a national health system committed to making communities healthier. Position Overview As a valued member of a nationally recognized healthcare organization, you will care for a broad range of adult cardiology patients and work in a collaborative, patient‑focused environment. You will support 2 interventional cardiologists and 3 advanced cardiac partner roles, work in a newly renovated cath lab equipped with GE Allia IGS, a 256‑slice CT scanner with CTA capabilities, and an Echo PACS system for streamlined diagnostics and remote reading capabilities. Key Responsibilities Support a high‑volume interventional cardiology practice and 3 advanced cardiac partner roles. Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and peripheral vascular interventions. Manage general adult cardiology, peripheral vascular disease management, arrhythmia management, pacemaker and implantable cardioverter‑defibrillator therapies, congestive heart failure management, echocardiography, pericardial procedures, myocardial biopsy. Utilize GE Allia IGS cath lab, 256‑slice CT scanner, Echo PACS, remote reading capabilities. Qualifications Valid medical license in Kentucky, board‑eligible or board‑certified in adult cardiology or interventional cardiology preferred. Strong commitment to patient‑centered care, excellent communication, and ability to work collaboratively. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary with RVU bonus.
