Sales Support Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team in Franklin, TN. This position combines sales, account coordination, and publisher relationship management.

As a Sales Specialist Assistant at BulkBooks.Com, your key responsibilities involve linking publishers, customers, and our internal teams. You will work with different departments to make the sales process seamless and efficient. Your tasks include qualifying inbound leads, maintaining continuous client relationships, and carefully managing each order, while also spotting opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Engagement

• Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries and process bulk book orders.
• Qualify leads by identifying customer needs and recommending the best titles or bulk solutions.
• Price match with competitors to ensure we provide the best value to our customers.
• Proactively follow up with prospects and past clients to drive reorders and new opportunities.
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to improve lead generation and conversion efforts.

Publisher & Vendor Relations

• Serve as a primary point of contact for publishers, managing communication and fostering strong relationships.
• Coordinate book availability, bulk pricing, and special order requests.
• Maintain updated records of vendor terms and inventory options to support accurate quoting.

Order & Operations Management

• Accurately enter and process customer orders, ensuring all details (pricing, shipping, payment) are correct.
• Conduct market and pricing comparisons to ensure BulkBooks.Com remains competitively positioned.
• Track in-stock inquiries, shipping timelines, and delivery confirmations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues quickly and effectively.

CRM & Reporting

• Update CRM systems with detailed notes on leads, customer interactions, and follow-up activities.
• Provide feedback on customer trends, popular titles, and opportunities for product or process improvements.
• Support sales forecasts and pipeline tracking by maintaining organized and accurate data.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  comfortable communicating with both customers and publishers.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace;
  experience with CRM tools (e.G., Copper, HubSpot, or Salesforce) is a plus.
• Self-starter with a proactive, positive, and collaborative mindset.
• Experience in publishing, e-commerce, customer service, or sales operations is a plus.

What To Expect: 30, 60, 90-Day Plan

First 30 Days:

• Complete onboarding and product training.
• Learn publisher relationships and ordering processes.
• Become proficient in Copper (our CRM tool) and our order management system.
• Process customer inquiries with supervision.

First 60 Days

• Independently manage inbound sales inquiries.
• Achieve target response times for customer communications.
• Successfully close new sales opportunities.
• Build relationships with key publishers and repeat customers.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation.

First 90 Days

• Support the team in meeting monthly team sales goals.
• Support the team in scouting new leads.
• Demonstrate strong publisher relationships.
• Independently manage customer accounts from inquiry through fulfillment.

Benefits & Salary Details:

• Annual salary: $50,000
• Hours per week: 40
• Payroll is paid every other week.
