The Route Carrier plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages while maintaining a high level of customer service. This position requires efficient route management using modern technology and adherence to safety and company guidelines. The Route Carrier manages vehicle maintenance and inventory to support smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages accurately and on time
- Interact professionally with customers
- Maintain vehicle condition through routine checks and upkeep
- Manage inventory of packages and delivery materials
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies
- Effectively manage delivery schedules and routes
- Keep detailed delivery and vehicle maintenance records
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in delivery or courier services
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Experience with route optimization
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective time management
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Inventory tracking and record keeping skills
- Problem solving and communication abilities
**Carrier will earn 25% of routes completed for the week, owner maintains maintenance for truck. Truck is equipped with ELD, pallet jack, hand truck, ratchet straps, load bars, GPS, EZ-pass.**
