Senior Information Systems Specialist Jobs

USGI is seeking a Senior Information Systems Specialist to provide vital staff support and subject matter expertise to fulfill the multiple mandates and programs on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services for the U.S. government such as the new task assigned to the OSP Biosecurity team to lead efforts to strengthen oversight related to critical life sciences research with potential biosafety and biosecurity implications and the intersection of biosecurity and bioeconomy, and in addition, staff provide support for the monitoring of biosafety practices and containment principles as outlined by the NIH Guidelines.

Representative Functional Roles: Information management specialist

General Functional Responsibility: Responsible for software development life-cycle management including project reporting, and overall task management, assuring that team members provide the proper services and complete the deliveries in an acceptable and timely manner. Can serve as a task leader on a project team for software development projects and is the official day-to-day point of contact.

Required Qualifications

• BA or BS in Computer Science or related area
• Ten years of experience.
