Float Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist for its Fort Wayne, Indiana location to perform blood collections and specimen processing across multiple clinical sites. The position offers full-time hours with flexible scheduling and opportunities for skill development across diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain accurate specimen logs
- Prepare specimens for testing and handle billing/payment collection
- Travel between multiple clinic locations as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of phlebotomy experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Phlebotomy certification from accredited program
- At least 21 years old
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
