ABOUT OUR FIRM

We are a high-stakes civil litigation firm built for the courtroom. Our practice is centered on complex, sophisticated disputes — including corporate and commercial litigation, business torts, contract disputes, and multi-party corporate matters. We do not handle medical malpractice or insurance defense work. Our attorneys try cases, and we need a paralegal who thrives in that environment.

THE ROLE (Hiring Part-Time and Full-Time Positions)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our litigation team. There are both full-time and part-time position available. This is an in-person position working directly alongside our litigation secretary and lead attorneys. The right candidate has seen the inside of a courtroom many times and is ready to own the preparation that gets cases there.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

▪ Manage all phases of trial preparation — from pretrial motions through verdict — including trial binders, exhibit lists, witness files, and deposition designations

▪ Conduct thorough legal research and draft research memoranda, case summaries, and supporting materials for attorneys

▪ Coordinate closely with the litigation secretary on case management, deadlines, docket control, and court filings

▪ Organize and maintain large-scale document productions, review discovery materials, and prepare discovery responses

▪ Draft and proofread pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence under attorney supervision

▪ Manage and index deposition transcripts, exhibits, and expert materials

▪ Assist at trial — including real-time exhibit management, witness coordination, and logistical support in the courtroom

▪ Track and manage case deadlines, court rules, and local requirements across multiple active matters

▪ Coordinate with experts, consultants, vendors, and co-counsel as needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required

▪ 5+ years of paralegal experience in civil litigation with substantial trial preparation responsibility

▪ Demonstrable trial experience — you have been in the courtroom

▪ Deep familiarity with complex commercial, corporate, or business litigation matters

▪ Strong legal research skills using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or comparable platforms

▪ Ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple high-priority matters without dropping the ball

▪ Excellent written communication skills — able to draft clearly and precisely

▪ Proficiency with case management and e-discovery platforms (e.g., Outlook Suite, Westlaw, Deadline Assistant)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not apply unless you have prior experience working in a civil litigation law firm, including hands-on experience with trial preparation. Candidates without both civil litigation and trial preparation experience will not be considered for an interview.

Preferred

▪ Paralegal certificate, bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional training

▪ Experience with corporate governance or business entity disputes

▪ Familiarity with court e-filing systems (state and federal)

This role is not a fit if you have worked exclusively in:

▪ Medical malpractice defense or plaintiff's medical malpractice

▪ Insurance defense litigation

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
