Administrative Assistant - part-time Piteau Associates Engineering Ltd. is an established Engineering firm providing quality Geotechnical and Hydrogeologic services since 1976. Our Head Office is located in North Vancouver, with offices in the US, Peru, Chile, South Africa and the UK. We take pride in the quality of our work and the high level of professional staff we attract. We require an Administrative Assistant - part-time to join our growing Team. This is a permanent, part-time position which will provide a wide range of duties and responsibilities. Reporting to and working closely with the US Administrative Manager, you will be an integral part of the day-to-day operation of the company. Responsibilities Technical report preparation, consisting of scanning, compilation, editing, formatting, and report re-production Provide logistical support for day-to-day office operations Help manage and maintain warehouse Coordinate maintenance of equipment and field vehicles Support with safety audits Project related data processing Support in administration of office accounts Order all office supplies and stock Assist with expense claims Liaise with the Head Office (Vancouver) admin/accounts team Phone call reception Orientation of newly hired staff Other tasks as required Skills and Experience Advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint with an eye for detail and accuracy Ability to multi-task and prioritize Outstanding organizational skills Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Initiative and the ability to work independently Excellent English (both written and oral) with working knowledge of Spanish being an asset Previous experience in a similar role and sector will be considered favorably Why Join Piteau Exciting career development opportunities, including mentoring by world-class practice leaders Ability to see projects from cradle to grave Engaging corporate culture based on innovation, collaboration, and integrity We offer a great place to work, and an engaging culture that is based on innovation, collaboration, and integrity.
