The Loan Officer will meet with prospective and current borrowers to assess their needs, explain loan options, and guide them through the mortgage application process. Daily responsibilities include evaluating financial information, collecting and reviewing documentation, coordinating with underwriting, and ensuring loans comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves managing a pipeline of applications, following up with clients, and maintaining clear, timely communication with borrowers, real estate professionals, and internal teams. The Loan Officer will also contribute to business development efforts by cultivating referral relationships and identifying opportunities to grow the client base. Qualifications Strong knowledge and practical experience in loan origination and working as a Loan Officer. Foundational understanding of finance, including income analysis, investment, credit evaluation, and debt-to-income calculations. Customer service skills with the ability to build trust, explain complex information clearly, and support clients throughout the loan process. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously. Effective written and verbal communication skills and comfort interacting with diverse clients and partners. Prior mortgage or banking industry experience preferred; NMLS licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure required.
