The Urology Department at our organization is looking for a fellowship-trained endourologist to fill a position as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor within the University Medical Line. The ideal applicant will possess extensive experience in endourological and minimally invasive surgical techniques, particularly in the management of kidney stone disease, along with a strong history of patient care and educational contributions. Furthermore, the candidate should have a background in translational and/or clinical research, demonstrating the potential or proven ability to establish an independent research program and secure external funding.

The primary criteria for faculty appointments in the University Medical Line include excellence in clinical care, teaching, scholarly contributions, and service to the institution. The successful candidate must exhibit outstanding or promising capabilities in these areas, with evidence of achieving or the potential to achieve regional or national recognition for their contributions. Candidates lacking formal teaching experience should demonstrate a commitment to education during their residency and fellowship training, showing the potential to meet or exceed established teaching standards. Faculty rank will be determined based on the qualifications and experience of the selected individual.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible with an MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent).
• Completion of fellowship training in endourology.
• A strong record of innovative peer-reviewed publications and external career development awards is highly desirable.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is as follows:

• Assistant Professor: $391,000 - $427,000
• Associate Professor: $447,000 - $492,000
• Professor: $498,000 - $598,000

This salary range reflects base pay, which is determined by faculty rank and years of service. It does not encompass all components of the faculty compensation program or additional pay from departmental incentive programs.
