Field Service Engineer 2 - Wknd Shift

Field Service Engineer 2 supporting installation, maintenance, and repair of surgical systems in the Charleston, SC area. This weekend-shift role requires strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting expertise, customer service skills, and ability to travel up to 75% within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Intuitive products and associated equipment per procedures
• Perform scheduled maintenance including system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, and upgrades
• Conduct training sessions at facilities, training centers, and hospitals for end-users and staff
• Document service activities, maintain records, and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders
• Manage assigned customer territory, respond to service needs, and maintain customer relationships

Requirements

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems
• Team collaboration and strong problem-solving skills with critical thinking
• Effective time management and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and work flexible/weekend shifts as assigned
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain vendor credentialing for OR access
• 1-3 years field service experience preferred
• Associate's degree in related field or equivalent training and experience
