These relationships are what make the difference in finding the exact right person at exactly the right time.Job DescriptionThe Solutions Architect - Cisco Engineer serves as a partner with our Account Executives in a technical role within our Engineering department. The primary role is to seek out and analyze customer business needs within the commercial and enterprise customers then go to market and match those to the company’s technical capabilities. Engaging consultatively, the Engineer will showcase the company’s architectural advantage by designing and configuring technical solutions to meet customer goals, explaining and demonstrating features and benefits.Duties and responsibilities include:Manage direct customer and partner relationships for the assigned accountAssist with the development of formal plans and proposals for assigned opportunitiesProvide technical and consultative support (which could also include sales support)Perform technical presentations for customers, partners and prospectsWork with technology teams to bring new products and technologies to companyMaintain expertise in relevant competitive solutions, products and servicesActively participate as a subject expert on assigned Virtual Teams and provide consultative support in their area of specialization to Solution Architects and System EngineersQualificationsRequired Skills & Experience7+ years-related industry experienceIn-depth knowledge and strong operating experience in more than one of the following areas of specialization: Service Provider technologies, Multi-Service (Voice and Video), Enterprise routing/switching, Collaboration (Unified Communications), Virtualization (Data Center), Security, WirelessIn addition to technological aptitude and the ability to learn quickly and stay current, the ideal candidate's interpersonal, presentation and troubleshooting skills evoke passion and confidence.Cisco product knowledge is a mustBachelor-level relevant educational qualification or equivalentKnowledge of relevant solution sets, product line specifications, performance criteria and applications.Competitive knowledge (in their area of specialization) including solution, technology and product offerings.Understanding and ability to articulate company, competitors, technologies, solutions, product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.Ability to work effectively and independently able to add value as a team memberCisco Certifications very desirable Additional InformationThis is an opportunity we are looking to hire asap, please apply soon!SummaryType: Full-timeFunction: EngineeringExperience level: Mid-Senior LevelIndustry: Information Technology And Services
