Responsible for providing the customers with a delightful dining experience from the initial reception until the final goodbye. Responsible for handling customer check monies transactions in a prompt, courteous manner and in accordance with the company's high standards of customer services.

• Responsible for initial cordial reception to the customers upon arrival and the prompt, courteous escort to a dining table.
• Responsible for receiving payment from food and beverage customers in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Responsible for answering telephones and making reservations, if required.
• Advises customers of waiting time and recommends beverage outlets to customers.
• Responsible for seating customers according to established rotation procedure, distribute menus and explain the food items.
• Handles any customer complaints and resolves them quickly and courteously.
• Assists in maintaining standards of health, safety, and sanitation. Must present a professional appearance and adhere to established policy and procedures regarding appearance.
• Responsible for prompt, efficient, and courteous service of food and beverages to restaurant customers in accordance with venue standards.
• Performs necessary tasks to service customers, i.e. taking and filling all food and drink orders and assisting in maintaining customers dining area in a clean and neat manner.
• Monitors customer needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests will be promptly fulfilled.
• Performs as a team member with; venue hosts, supervisors, food servers, bus people, and kitchen staff in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation.
• Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record.
• Assists other restaurant personnel with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.
• Serves alcohol beverages in accordance with established policy and procedures and existing state regulations.

High school diploma or GED required. Previous food server experience preferred.

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to pass and receive a food handler's certification card within 30 days of hire. Complete and pass testing for responsible alcohol service training within 30 days of hire.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
