Encore Experience HostTo serve the Guest by creating ENCORE EXPERIENCES to ensure complete satisfaction through quick, friendly, and superior service.Essential duties may include, but are not limited to the following:Extend a warm and friendly greeting to all guestsPick up trash on the parking lot as neededTake guests' orders accuratelyRelay the order to the kitchen staffAccept payment from guests and make change correctlyThank guests for their businessPresent order to guest, properly packaged and with all necessary accompaniments and utensilsOperate the cash register and being responsible for cash receiptsGenerate additional sales whenever possible by suggesting additional menu items to the guestsCount the change bank in their register at the beginning and end of the shiftStock adequate supplies of paper goods, condiments, beverages, etc. for the serving of guestsPrep drinks and assist in kitchen prep of items such as sauces, salads, produce, etc.Clean all guest areasPrep food as neededPresent to management when any front-of-the-house equipment needs service or inventory is neededRemove trash from waste receptacles and place at back of restaurantSweep and mop lobby as neededClean restrooms as neededExplain menu and answer product questions as raised by guestsEssential job functions:Walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of timeAbility to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perceptionBasic math skillsRequirements:Experience at working with the public, handling money and a cash registerGood communications skills (articulate and uses good grammar)Good telephone skillsOutgoing personalityA good listenerGood judgment abilitiesA team playerAbility to suggestive sellPleasant voicePleasing attitude towards guests and co-workersNatural ability to smile
