Career Path: Operations → Sales

You’ll start in operations to learn the industry, then transition into sales once you’re ready.

Operations Responsibilities

Match carriers to available freight
Track shipments from pickup to delivery
Communicate updates to customers
Resolve transit issues
Maintain system accuracy
Collect delivery documentation

Sales Responsibilities (after training)

Generate leads and build your own book of business
Make outbound calls to prospective customers
Develop long-term client relationships
Manage freight opportunities from quote to delivery

Compensation Potential (Base + Commission)

$75,000+ in year one
$100,000+ with consistent production
$150,000+ for high performers
