Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00–15:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients within an acute care operating room setting
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required during surgical procedures
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health records
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed to meet staffing demands
• Adhere to facility protocols, infection control standards, and surgical safety guidelines
• Participate in holiday coverage, including a minimum of 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid California RN license (pending license accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Willingness to float to sister facilities within the region as assigned
• Ability to comply with all traveler submission requirements including holiday availability and RTO limitations (no more than 7 days)
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with acute care facility environments and surgical workflows
• Flexibility with variable shift scheduling within the day shift timeframe
