Trade Support Specialist at a Leading Global Macro Hedge Fund in NYC

A $25B+ leading global macro hedge fund based in NYC is looking to add a Trade Support Specialist to their Operations team. This is a hybrid Product Control and Operations role focused on accurate trade capture, lifecycle management, T0 P&L estimates, and direct operational support to Portfolio Managers across a broad range of asset classes and trading strategies.

— 3+ years of experience in a Trade Assistant or Trade Support role required

— Solid understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle and how cash and market value of different products feed through to P&L

— Exposure to Fixed Income, FX, Credit, Rates, Equities, and ETDs strongly preferred

— Strong Excel skills; familiarity with VBA, SQL, or Python a plus

— Responsibilities span trade capture, static data management, T+0 affirmation, break resolution, and T0 estimate preparation and distribution to Portfolio Managers

— Acts as a key liaison between execution traders, portfolio managers, and internal teams including COO, Middle Office, Fund Control, Risk, and Quant
