Essential Responsibilities & Duties Directs and manages Responsible for labor relations and managing union issues associated with craft labor. Manages capital asset maintenance. Establishes and monitors overall plant performance for production and quality standards. Controls and minimizes repair expenses. Maintains existing plant facilities and equipment; replaces or makes adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary. Provides leadership and training to accomplish Company goals and objectives. Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs. Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel. Manages and directs non-supervisory administrative or union employees and is responsible for the overall direction and management of these employees. Travels to Company and subsidiary offices; offsite client, subcontractor, and supplier meetings; and other locations across North America to fulfill the essential duties of the role as required. Exhibits regular and reliable attendance in person as required by the Supervisor, Company guidelines, and/or project and office obligations. Education And Experience Bachelor's degree and 5 years’ plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience managing in a union environment required. Working knowledge of budgets and financials statements required. Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
