Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

As a key member of the operations team, the main accountability for the Shift Supervisor will be the overall supervision of the shift operations with a concentration on personnel safety, product quality, and operational effectiveness of the facility. Follows and enforces all facility safety policies, ensuring the highest operational safety standards. Utilizing current and future quality control processes to ensure the product meets or exceeds product quality standards. Meet or exceed production goals as designated by senior management for the facility. Pay range based on experience.

salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Responsible for documentation processes, including shift summary sheets, product wash sheets, recollection wash processes, quality processes and paperwork, and cleaning processes and paperwork.
• Enforce safety policies and processes for all personnel within the plant.
• Ensure all PPE is being worn per company standards and ensure AIB standards are upheld.
• Provide personnel training and enforcement of all operational functions within the facility
• Ensure all required expectations are being met or exceeded regarding quality, machine operation, productivity, and safety
• Follow best practices and SOPs concerning shift/machine operation, ensuring effective and productive performance in keeping with the highest standards expected for customers.
• Support and assist in future duties/projects as assigned by management.
• Manage all shift employees according to company policies
• Maintain accurate inventory

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
