Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room (GYN/GU/Transplant)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days/Evenings | 3x12-hour shifts (6:40–19:10), with potential for one evening shift (9:40–22:10) biweekly; weekend rotation and weekday call requirement included

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for GYN, GU, and transplant surgical procedures including kidney transplant, nephrectomy, cystectomy, hysterectomy, and procurements
• Assist with robotic-assisted surgeries including Da Vinci Xi, urological robots, and GYN robotic procedures
• Support urological procedures such as HOLEP, ureteroscopy, and laparoscopic gynecology cases
• Participate in anterior/posterior repair and abdominal hysterectomy procedures
• Float to other units as needed per facility requirements
• Adhere to all facility compliance, safety, and clinical standards throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (must be valid for the state of Wisconsin)
• BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the applicable specialty
• Experience in Urology, Gynecology/Oncology, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, and robotic surgery
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
• Must pass a telemetry exam (adult and pediatric) with a minimum score of 80% within allowable attempts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical platform
• Familiarity with transplant procurement procedures
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity OR setting
