Key Responsibilities of the RN - Oncology - Travel

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Administer and monitor patient responses to medications.
• Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel.
• Utilize nursing informatics systems proficiently.
• Act as a resource person regarding patient care, orientation, and teaching staff.
• Participate in staff meetings and mandatory programs.
• Ensure safety protocol adherence regarding blood/body fluids.
• Maintain confidentiality and represent the hospital positively in the community.

Requirements of the RN - Oncology - Travel

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• Demonstrated skills in the education and counseling of oncology patients
• Capable of working with terminally ill patients and their families
• Successful passage of CCH's Pharmacology exam
