Quick Facts Location: Kansas City, MOStart Date: 05/05/2026Duration: Ongoing assignmentShift: In-house Neonatal Care (Flexible scheduled shifts)Hours/Week: Approximately 40-50 hoursEmployment Type: PermanentLicenses/Certifications: Missouri Medical License, Board Certified or Board Eligible in NeonatologyExperience: Preferred 2+ years in neonatal critical care Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00 per hour (Note: the pay rate listed; additional pay/benefits discussed upon application)Benefits include:Competitive pay packagesWeekly pay via direct depositComprehensive medical benefits (W-2)Robust referral bonus programPaid sick time in accordance with applicable lawsLicensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide in-house neonatal coverage at a Level-IIIB NICU with 49 beds in a leading facility in Kansas City, MOManage critically ill neonates using advanced therapies including inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV), high-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV), and therapeutic hypothermiaCare for extremely low gestational age newborns (ELGAN), including infants as early as 22 weeks gestationSupport over 450 annual NICU admissions with an average daily census of 30Collaborate with a team of experienced neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners for 24/7 supportParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and regional neonatal care coordinationEngage in opportunities for professional development and academic pursuits What You Need Required: Missouri Medical License or eligible to obtainBoard Certified or Board Eligible in NeonatologyMinimum 2 years of neonatal intensive care experience preferredCurrent certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), BLS, ACLS, and other relevant credentials Preferred: Experience managing advanced therapies in NICU settingsStrong teamwork and communication skills About the Assignment Join a highly specialized neonatal care team within a leading hospital in Kansas City, MO.
