Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You bring patients their power back, address the whole patient, execute programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence, adapt to patient needs, collaborate with peers, make referrals, and ensure the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate environment. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
