Denver/Zone 3 - ICU Charge Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have 2 years of ICU experience and Prior Charge Nurse Experience; If a 1st time traveler- then they need to have 3+ years of ICU experience and have Epic experience.
• Must be comfortable titrating all critical drips: Pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, insulin, and more.

Required Credentials: Required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.

Shift & Scheduling: 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule and May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation. Call or standby is rare, for low census.

Floating Requirements: No Home Base Facility - MUST FLOAT - Zone 3: OrthoCO Hospital, Longmont United Hospital, St Anthony, St Anthony North; May be asked to float into any other acuity level; ICU, PCU/Stepdown, & MS-Tele.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

Driver’s license required for submission
