Material Planner

Responsibilities Meet all plant safety goals, policies, and procedures Monitor daily supplier schedules and develop recovery plans if needed Work with engineering and material analyst on engineering changes Maintain accurate inventory balances Communicate and manage part break points with manufacturing Assist with warehouse management, purchase parts inventory levels and storage Understand material replenishment systems relative to purchase parts availability Manage MRP system set up for supplier orders Work with suppliers and internal logistics to develop transportation plans Monitor freight costs to budget Monitor material storage areas for proper 5S Support, review, and update department procedures Execute and support cycle counts Support Dock Clerk with material receipts and OS&D issues Ensure system Process Routings set up for new product launches Complete other special assignments Position Requirements Must be able to work a flexible schedule Proficient computer skills Good oral and written communication skills Ability to work in a team environment Excellent problem solving skills Must be a hands‑on person, willing to work on the manufacturing floor as needed Preferred Prior manufacturing plant experience Prior material scheduling experience using ERP system Prior logistics experience Material packaging experience Req Number PUR‑26‑00013 About the Organization Inteva Products is a leading global automotive supplier providing innovative, reliable, environmentally friendly products that enhance vehicle quality, safety and performance.
